lyrics
Oh the sound was so enticing
Through the fog
And the sea was peppered
From the rain
Taking all that was consumed
In a way that wants home
Free
The trail is opening
The smell up on that day
Is all right
It was far right
Embue confusion
Cause it won’t last
And we will all infuse
Then it’s gone
Then it’s gone
And then it’s gone
If you ever choose to grace the path again
Hold on
To all things you considered a marriage with
Hold on
Then we go round
When we go round
When we finally realize the size of the world
It’s gone
Then the thirst decides to guide you
When we finally realize the size of the world
It’s gone
Then the thirst decides to guide you

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
